An original-era US stereo pressing of the record that reinvented what a rock album could be. Pressed by MGM from the original stampers, with the third-state gatefold sleeve — Warhol’s peelable banana sticker still intact, the airbrushed rear panel that followed the Eric Emerson lawsuit — and 1967-style Verve labels with hand-etched runouts (MGS-558-REV / MGS-559).

Not the torso first state, but a true period copy, sonically identical to the first press and increasingly hard to find with the sticker unpeeled.
