Five Knowles Balanced Armature Drivers
Each in-ear monitor utilizes five premium Knowles balanced armature drivers and a four-way high-precision crossover with a four-tube acoustic design structure. The crossover circuit employs audio-grade thin film capacitors and components to accurately divide the frequency. The capacitors also effectively suppress vibration and electrical interference, reduce signal loss, and achieve far lower distortion than ceramic capacitors.
The AM05’s cable features a high-purity silver-plated copper wire, which reduces signal transmission loss and the deterioration of sound quality caused by distortion and interference, while maintaining rich details and a transparent sound. Should you wish to use a different cable, the detachable MMCX connectors allow you to easily change cables for your individual taste. The cable terminates with a gold-plated 2.5mm TRRS plug. A 2.5mm TRRS to 3.5mm TRS cable adapter, nine pairs of silicone eartips, two pairs of foam eartips, and a storage case are also included.
4-Way Crossover
The AM05 has undergone hundreds of experiments on the BA unit selection and crossover circuit, finalizing on a 4-way crossover and 4-tube design. On the crossover, iBasso uses audio-grade thin-film capacitors and components to accurately divide the frequency. The use of audio-grade thin film capacitors effectively suppresses vibration and electrical interference, reduced signal loss, while achieving a far lower distortion than ceramic capacitors.
MMCX High-Purity Silver-Plated Copper Wire Cable
Carefully selected high-purity silver-plated copper wire reduces signal transmission loss and the deterioration of sound quality caused by distortion and interference, while maintaining rich details and transparent sound restoration. The earphones utilize MMCX connectors, which allow you to easily swap cables.
Solid Molded, Crystal Clear
The AM05 features a crystal-clear design that shows the interior components, bringing a distinctive beauty and visual appeal.
